Mr. Gozi studied law in Bologna, international relations in Paris and Brussels, and macroeconomics in London. Mr. Gozi forged a solid European identity in the countries where he studied. Elected in May 2019, he was elected in the European Parliament following Brexit in February 2020, where he worked hard in the Internal Market, Constitutional Affairs and Regional Development Committees.

Manuel Pizzaro
Born in Coimbra in 1964, Manuel Pizzaro left a career as a doctor at the University Center of São João and at the Ordem da Trindade Hospital for the Ministry of Health of Portugal where he will be Secretary of State for Health from 2008 to 2009 and Deputy Minister of Health from 2009 to 2011. First deputy, then municipal councillor, he became a European deputy from 2019 and president of the socialist delegation to the European Parliament since 2022.

He holds a master’s degree in business administration (MBA) from HEC Montréal and a bachelor’s degree in political science from the Université du Québec à Montréal. He founded Alice Media in 2011 and hosts Regard Techno, a weekly radio show that talks about technological news.
